Aiken Christian Church - History

On October 9, 2013, a group met in the home of Dian Preston to form Aiken Christian Church, lead by Pastor Keith. They had all attended a former church but seperated from them the Sunday before. Pastor Ken McDonald had ministered to the group & lead them excellently including Pastor Keith (his assistant pastor). He retired at this point & gave his personal blessing & support to Pastor Keith & the group to launch a church plant that had layed upon Pastor Keith's heart by God years prior. We met October 13, 2013 at a Hilton Garden Inn conference center for our first service. We soon complete our 13th year & begin our 14th. Pastor Ken will always be special to us all & is pictured here receiving his honor of being designate Pastor Emeritus of Aiken Christian Church in 2025 less than one year until his death & ascension into the loving arms of Jesus. We remember him & his wife Nelly as the special people God put in our lives to help & guide us. ACC looks to comtinue our dedication & service to our Lord Jesus Christ & His Kingdom for the rest of our lives here on earth.
